HL Klemove, a subsidiary of HL Group specializing in autonomous driving solutions, announced its development of High-Performance Computers (HPCs) equipped with Snapdragon Ride™ Platform from Qualcomm Technologies Inc. On January 9th, HL Klemove showcased its next-generation HPC product line powered by Qualcomm’s System on Chip (SoC) at its CES 2024 booth in Las Vegas, CA.

HL Klemove’s HPC

The HPCs displayed at its booth are high-performing self-driving platforms. Integrating hardware and software in one product, an HPC is a device with a power of dozens of Electronic Control Units (ECUs). In particular, the HPC developed by HL Klemove is as powerful as a supercomputer in processing perception sensor data from the cameras, radars, and RiDARs on a vehicle and in performing big data calculations. The processing power of the HPC determined by the performance of the SoC is also state-of-the-art, as HL Klemove adopted Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Ride™ platform. HL Klemove revealed its HPC product line including three models. With each model providing a different level of autonomous driving, consumers can choose from the Entry (Level 2), Standard (Level 2), and Premium (Level 3) models that are tailored to their needs. Utilizing the SoC based on the Snapdragon Ride™ platform, software architecture, perception features, and toolchain services extensively, the HPC is capable of processing data from multiple cameras using the Vision Software Development Kit (SDK), making it suitable for robots and vessels as well.

The Snapdragon Ride™ platform is the primary component of the Snapdragon® Digital Chassis™ Solution, structuring AI∙connected vehicles. The platform supports mobility solution development with high flexibility in design and high energy efficiency for global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and top-tier automobile parts manufacturers.
