HL Group (president Chung Mong-won) was awarded the ‘iF Design Award’ in company branding section at the iF Design Award 2023, hosted by iF International Forum Design.

IF International Forum Design GmbH, an independent German design institution with a long tradition and history, hosts the globally recognized annual international design competition in Hanover, Germany. Introduced in 1954, the iF Design Award is one of the three most internationally renowned design awards, along with the Red Dot Award and the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). This year, about 11,000 works from 56 countries were submitted.



The “Stride” mark, new group symbol, was revealed along with the new CI. The new symbol mark represents its desire “to step brave and to leap boldly,” which signifies the group’s identity, the heritage from its Halla era, and the vision for the present and the future.

“HL’s new CI represents our ‘boldness’ and a ‘bold leap’ towards the better,” says the leader of HL Group’s Brand Strategy team, “and we will continue to communicate with the market for the challenges we dare and the growth we pursue.”
