At the 60th Invention Day Ceremony held on May 19,
Senior Engineers Inwook Jeon and Jaesang Park received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award.
The award recognizes their dedication to developing core technologies for future mobility
and their contributions to strengthening the company’s technological competitiveness.
Senior Engineer Inwook Jeon played a leading role in developing key components of brake systems, notably contributing to improved product quality
through the development of a solenoid valve that reduces brake noise.
This valve was independently developed for the first time in the world
and has significantly advanced various braking control technologies,
including Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) and Active Hydraulic Brake (AHB) systems.
Senior Engineer Jaesang Park, an expert in steering systems,
has devoted 17 years to steering system development.
His inventions include dual safety features for Electric Power Steering (EPS)
and the development of motor precision control software,
enhancing the competitiveness of the company’s steering technologies.
Looking ahead, our company will continue to drive innovation in future mobility technologies
and solidify its global competitiveness through ongoing breakthroughs.
